No. 65 Western Michigan Stops Bulldogs, 7-0

Indianapolis, Ind. - No. 65 Western Michigan claimed all three doubles matches before tallying wins in all six singles bouts en route to a 7-0 sweep of Butler on Saturday (March 14) afternoon at the Butler Bubble.

The No. 1 doubles tandem of Molly Casperson and Becky Jenkins put up a strong showing against their WMU foe, battling to a 7-7 draw before falling, 8-6 in the tiebreaker.

No. 2 singles player Gabriella Bobrowski, meanwhile, battled back from an opening set defeat to score a 7-5 win in the second set before falling in a gutsy 10-8 deciding round to Emily Dudzik.

Butler will have a week off before returning to action on Saturday (March 21) when it hosts Evansville beginning at 3:00 p.m.
