Paige McCracken Earns Horizon League Athlete of the Week Honors

Butler senior wins final fall women's golf award

Senior Paige McCracken was named Horizon League Women's Golf Athlete of the Week in the final fall report released by the League office. The report covered a two-week period, which included McCracken's strong performance at the IPFW Fall Classic.

McCracken led the Bulldogs to the team championship at the IPFW Fall Classic on Oct. 15-16. She tied for third in the final individual standings with a 36-hole score of four-over-par 148. The Butler senior carded a one-over-par 73 in the opening round and then finished with a 75 for her two-day total.

The IPFW championship was Butler's second tournament win of the fall season. The Bulldogs also won the Butler Fall Invitational on Oct. 1-2. McCracken finished sixth at the Butler Invitational. She finished the fall season with a 78.2 average for nine rounds.
