Men's Golf Finishes 10th At North South Intercollegiate

Jacksonville, Fla. - The Butler men's golf team kicked off its spring season at the North South Intercollegiate on March 10 and 11, finishing 10th in the tournament with a combined team score of 629. Ryan Wegeng led the Bulldogs on the final day, shooting a low round of 73. After carding a 79 on the first day of competition, Wegeng cut six strokes off his score in the final round to post a 152 and finish tied for 25th. Kyle Thomas joined Wegeng in 25th, shooting back-to-back rounds of 76 (152). John Farrelly added a top-50 showing as well, carding a 79-81--160 for a 47th-place tie. The Bulldogs return to action on March 24 when they open the Butler Spring Invitational.
